Outright payment or instalment: how to choose

Many estates offer both an outright price and an instalment price. Which suits you depends on your finances and your plans.

Outright payment Paying in full usually gives the lower price. It suits buyers who have the funds available and want the purchase settled quickly.

Instalment payment Spreading the cost can make land ownership more reachable, but the total is typically higher than the outright price. Be clear on the deposit, the monthly amount, the duration and what happens if a payment is late.

Questions to ask - What is the total cost on the instalment plan? - When do documents become available to me? - Are there any extra charges, such as survey?

Use the payment plan calculator on this website for an estimate, then confirm your actual terms with the company before paying.
